Water-tightness
When tested for water-tightness, there shall be no leakage in any gloves than those permitted using the inspection level and AQL given in Table 1.
Tensile Properties
Requirements on tensile properties for quality control purposes apply to new gloves only. Tensile properties shall be measured in accordance with ISO 37.
Tensile strength, force-at-break and elongation-at-break before ageing.
When determined in accordance with the method specified in ISO 37, the tensile strength, force-at-break and elongation-at-break shall comply with the requirements given in Table 3, using the inspection level and AQL given in Table 1.

Table 3.  Tensile Properties:
Property Unit Requirement
Minimum tensile strength before accelerated ageing MPa 18
Minimum force at break before accelerated ageing N 9
Minimum elongation at break before accelerated ageing % 650
Minimum tensile strength after accelerated ageing MPa 14
Minimum force at break after accelerated ageing N 6
Minimum elongation at break after accelerated ageing % 500

Tensile strength, force-at-break and elongation-at-break after accelerated ageing.
Gloves shall be taken from their packs and aged for 7 days at 70oC ± 2oC in air, in a drying oven, as described in ISO 188. Test pieces cut from the gloves and tested as described above shall comply with the requirements given in Table 3, using the inspection level and AQL given in Table 1.
Extractable Proteins
The determination of extractable protein shall be conducted following the Modified Lowry Method. The extractable proteins shall comply with the requirements given in Table 4, using the inspection level given in Table 1
